People of Kosovo come safe

The Albanian people crossed the border of Albania and were greeted by other refugees who reached there before.  It was on Sunday when the refugees came back to their families who were presumed dead.  Most of them were men and husbands and were looking for their wife and children.  The people said that the Serbs were terrorists.  There were 3,600 refugees who came to Albania and about 5,000 going to Macedonia.

World Cup 99

The 7th cricket world cup started in England with Sri Lanka and England.  The world cup is the most famous tournament in the sport of cricket. There are 12 teams who are competing.  They are divided into two groups.  The final will be held at Lord’s with South Africa the favorites for winning the cup.

Chemicals used on oil spills

Malaysian authorities on Sunday used chemicals to control a large oil spill from a cruise liner which sank in the Strait of Malacca last week after1, 093 passengers and crew safely abandoned ship. The 36-year-old Sun Vista, bought and refurbished for $70 million in 1997, sank early on Friday after a short circuit sparked a fire in the switchboard of the engine room. The hull was insured for $60 million. All passengers and crew on the 214-metre (700-foot) ship were rescued after it sank in calm waters in the Strait of Malacca about 60 nautical miles south of Penang and 50 nautical miles west of Port Weld.

CIA starts work on Kosovo

President Bill Clinton has told the CIA  to look for ways to get the Milosevic government out of power.  Newsweek Magazine said that the CIA was going to use some of these techniques. The use of computer hacking to attack Milosevic’s international bank account.   A campaign to erode his public support.  However, the CIA doesn’t have the permission to train the Kosovo Liberation Army to perform cover acts of sabotaging.  Newsweek also said that other NATO allies are not to be told about this secret war.  But some experts say that if the CIA does the job, the great.  But if it fails to do it, they will be in big trouble.
